The farm Au p’tit pont couvert Landry
A small bovine farm located in Latulipe-et-Gaboury, a small town where life is good. The fourth generation of Landry is currently in charge of the sustainability of the family business.
Everything we do, we do with care to our flora and fauna. Each taken action tends a little further toward self-sufficiency and biodiversity. We share a deep respect of our surroundings, and we benefit from it every day. Our foundation is simply in sync with the cycle of nature.
Our beef is exclusively grass-fed and our grazing-lands and crops are natural, they contain no pesticide, GMO, or other inputs other than manure from our own farm. Also, our livestock will never contain added hormones. Each animal is unique and loved. Therefore, our herd stays six months free in the stables, and the other six months in pasture.
Each veal is born either from artificial insemination, or from our own bulls. We have a few species: Limousine, black Angus, Hereford, Simmental, etc. We just added Speckle Park, Belted Galloway & Charolais to the family. Being myself an adept of local, natural sustainable and seasonal purchasing, my motto is: “This beef is always seasonal, all-year round!”
Furthermore, we do responsible tree cutting on our forestry land, and our permaculture inspired garden feeds us during both summer and winter, with the hope of food self-sufficiency.
Looking forward to feeding you and exchange with you!
