Témiscamingue is located at the far western edge of Québec, south of Abitibi, on the border with Ontario and along the shores of the lake that bears its name.
Did you know you can reach Témiscamingue by two different routes from Montreal or Quebec City?
Via Ontario:
Accessible by the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 17), you’ll drive through Ottawa and several Ontario villages like Mattawa. Then, take Highway 533—“a rather winding shortcut”—and you’ll arrive at our doorstep! If you’d like to avoid Highway 533, you can also come through North Bay.
Via Quebec:
Accessible through La Vérendrye Park by taking Highway 720 West from Montreal, you’ll discover Abitibi along the way and continue on to Témiscamingue!
